Carmen Barbato, Inc. is a local, family-owned and operated business in Columbia County, NY with over 65 years of providing “QUALITY” residential and commercial trash disposal and demolition service in New York: Columbia, Greene and Dutchess counties; Massachusetts: Southern Berkshire county; and Connecticut: Litchfield county. We also offer a Transfer Station open to the public.

We are sustainably conscious and environmentally responsible. We not only conduct business locally, we live here as well. Which is why we’ve built our own recycling and recovery facility to help the cause of saving our land, rather than filling landfills.

Carmen Barbato, Senior, was born in a little town east of Naples, Italy called Montesarchio. In 1949, at age 11, he came to the United States with his 14-year-old sister, Filomena.
