Look for recyclable gift wrap and bags when wrapping a gift. You can also reduce waste by using decorative boxes that don’t require wrapping that can be recycla­ble. A lot of gift wrap is not recyclable because of the coating on the paper, which is often shiny and laminat­ed. Also consider using old newspapers, or reuse paper and bags rather than discarding after one use.
